31.5 inches
Location Caught:
Lake Saganaga, Minnesota
Story: Lindy rigging on with a three pearl beads a small Colorado blade and a jumbo leech, backtrolling coming off the edge of a rocky reef that went from 16 to 24 in a hurry when I decided to put on some sun screen Go figure What a fight Saganaga is a cold clear lake that bottoms out at 282 feet. The walleye there are strong and healthy It must have taken a good ten minutes to get her in the boat and by that time my eyes were probably looking like the walleyes Good thing for the picture I was wearing shades Anyway we measured her took her mug shot and got her back in the water quick as could be Held her by the side the boat pushing water through her gills until she made it clear she was ready to go Then I finished putting on my sunscreen as that was all I was fit to do for a while
